MOTIVATING QUOTES

Hi guys, here are some motivational quotes i believe you will enjoy.

"...doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment" - Oprah Winfrey

"Our values govern our behaviour, our principles govern the consequence of those values"- Stephen R. Covey

"The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your time management" - Brian Tracy

"You're not necessarily what people think about you but what you think about yourself"-Sahbad

Always stay positive always! Later.
LET’S GET TALKING
Most times, people focus only on one side of life. They feel that commitment to their job alone will bring success. Success comes when one makes positive changes to negative circumstances. Pause to think- why do problems arise? Are they just there to make life uncomfortable for us ? Those problems are waiting for achievers to transform them into advantages. However, it is a known fact that that the world is full of pros and cons. It is our duty to stick to the positive. Unfortunately, most people tend to wait for ready-made solutions before they can solve a problem. Problems are never solved that way. Achievers bring out perfection from imperfection. We must never wait for perfection, we must create perfection. Let’s learn to use our creativity for positivity.
Moreover, when taking a stance, we have to view it in all its facets. We are not to condemn one idea for another neither should we compromise. For instance, people who believe that success lies only in academic excellence shouldn’t discriminate against those do not see it that way and vice versa. In fact, it is better to mix different ideologies together to make a successful product. Imagine a medical doctor also being a graphic artist- its not fiction, its very possible. All it takes is commitment and organization. Let’s learn to unravel our talents and search for more knowledge through education.
Although, it’s quite unfortunate that education in most societies is is considered for the purpose of qualification rather than application. It is always wise to blend talents with education to make positive and productive results for ourselves and environment. Remember, we all exist on this earth for a purpose- And we have to justify that purpose. Till next time. One love!
Journey to Self-esteem

While in junior high and senior high school, i'd always had problems with my self esteem. Though, i made friends easily, but i had a problem when it comes to self confidience. Maybe because my dad always warned me about the dangers of over-confidience then. I further developed slight shyness and i found it difficult to mix freely with the croud. Even if i did, there were always odd times where i had to become so 'silly' as a result of inferiority complex. At times, i had a feeling of guilt which made me behave in some kinda irrational way. I used to be aggressive to my siblings. I easily got anoyyed and bored and i spent a lot of time worrying about myself and how people though of me.
As i was growing up and getting more matured, i learnt that the way you see yourself is the same way others will see you. When i got into college, i started reducing the habit gradually, because i knew it was a childish act and i never wanted to be seen as 'a kid'. Although, i had some self-esteem problems with my room-mates but it didn't take long for me to stop. Thanks to one of my very good female friends who was always talking to me constantly. I never hid anything about myself from her. I made her understand my problems and she willingly volunteered to help. At times, she'd put me to tests just to know how i would react. With time, i began to understand that you don't need to bother about what people think of you. Great people face problems and criticisnm. What made them achievers was thier ability to overcome rejection, critisicm and challenges. My love for writing also made things easier for me. If i was angry, i would usually try to hide it, pick up a pen and notepad and start writing good things about myself- what i've acheved and what i want to achieve were among the things that filled my notepad. I also got used to reading motivational and self-help books of renowned experts like Ben Carson, Brian Tracy, Denis Whitely, Jim Rohn, Robert Kiyosaki and many more. I created mentors out of these people and have been striving towards been an achiever. I was enering into a new world of satisfaction, commitment and Success. I never allowed setbacks or downfalls act as failures for me. I also made my folks know that. One important thing that i also learnt is that; 'NEVER TAKE THINGS PERSONAL' People could provoke you or treat you less human. But you have to first of all identify the circumstances behind such behaviour before acting or making conclusions.I also learnt that you don't have to care much about what people say about you. Just feel good about yourself all the time. Also goal setting and personal organizations could be useful in maintaining high self esteem. I hope you'll find this piece beneficial.
